I sponsered the award last season putting up my own money.
It ended up being a mess.
One poster had the nerve to try to cheat by ghosting and begging people to vote for him.
The poster that won was nothing short of being rude to me all year long when I did not do a damm thing to him ever other than to give him money out of my own pocket.
If someone else wants to do thats fine.

Last time I checked, there were no strings attached to winning, nor did I ever ask for any money. I'll always be appreciative of you giving me money out of your own pocket, as it was a very generous thing to do. It doesn't, however, obligate me to like, respect, or even tolerate you on this forum.
Like many posters on here, I think it'd be a good time grabbing a beer with you. I'm sure you're a nice person and be good company, and if we happen to attend the same Bash, I'd have no problem shaking your hand and introducing myself. But unfortunately, that has nothing to do with your posting persona.
I gave you shit when you annoyed me before I won the award. I gave you shit when you annoyed me after I won the award. If that's not what you expected, you should've posted some rules/stipulations before handing out the award.
On a related note, does getting sent $100 for winning a poster of the year award make me the first and only paid poster in the history of the Rx?

That was not the main reason I chose not to do it again this year.
The thing that pissed me off was the guy who cheated by ghosting and bribing a bunch of posters into voting for him.
That rubbed me the wrong way.
I don't know if all of you guys were around I won 2003 - the first year we had this award - I won - no bullshit - Ken said he was getting me an an escort - I said cool - I'll have some drinks - and I gave him my address - true story which I have never told - at my door shows up Journey ready to suck my dick thinking I'm gay too - I was like tell Ken to eat a dick - I like females - Ken really thought I was gay and sent Fred Gervin over to treat me - for real - a dude showed up at my door to suck my dick? WTF
